Community Involvement

Mandatory Community Involvement - 40 Hours
Every Ontario student who begins high school after September 1, 1999 will complete 40 hours of community involvement activities in order to receive a graduation diploma.

Some eligible activities include:

• an event or activity to support not-for-profit agencies, institutions or foundations
  
  
• structured programs to promote tutoring, mentoring, visiting, coaching whose purpose is to assist others
  
  
• participation in an activity that supports work of a global nature
